This board show cases examples of what we are implementing in all of our rooms regarding diversity & inclusiveness. We have Lámh included for non verbal children should we need it now and going forward. We work with "first & then" for children to help them understand which activity is first and what they can look forward to next. We have "thought cards" included to teach children about different feelings in different scenarios so that they can become familiar. Our flags at the bottom are for nationalities within our creche right now so they can change or be added to along the way for new families. Lastly, we include a story sack; this is where we broaden a story if a child(ren) are particularly interested. We include activities, etc. to broaden their minds and possibly lead them elsewhere from this story.
