Our Story

As soon to be moms back in 2002, two sisters, Audrey Murray and Annette Akerlind (pictured above) had scoured Kildare for a childcare environment that they would be happy entrusting their own children to (pictured above). They soon realised that the warm, caring, happy environment they wanted for their children would have to be created by them.

And so Tots Creches in Kildare was born!

Annette and ​​Audrey shared a vision for a safe environment, infused with learning, nourished with healthy food; all  magically supported by highly trained staff who nurture each child with these ingredients, a large dollop of love and some cuddles to secure their happiness.

We started with just 4 children in one room, we’ve grown since and now nurture many more children with the same love, care and individual attention that appeals to parents as much today as it did then.

We’ve 5 individual Tots Crèches dotted around the Kildare area, so you can choose which location suits you best. And over 92 wonderful staff, each highly trained, fully qualified and dedicated to nurturing your child’s happiness.

And to make sure everyone gets to where they need to be on time, we’ve created our

own little transport network with 5 full time Tots buses – beep beep!
