GAA camps are for children from 6 years to 13 years with an action packed and fun filled week of activity which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic games. (If a child is under 6 but has completed one year in school this is acceptable)

A firm favourite, this week as always is packed with activities. Building on the success of previous years we are adding a competent swimmers section where your child can swim in the deep end after passing a swim competency test with a lifeguard!

Portlaoise Leisure Centre, as a top tier safe swimming environment, will have lifeguards on duty at all times along with our dedicated Tots Team!

We have designed a program that will enrich your child’s summer camp experience. This program contains pool based activities with Inflatables and Water Relays; Sports Activities including Co-op Games, Relays, Athletics and access to their All-Weather Outdoor Soccer Pitch. Arts and Crafts may feature too (in bad weather) and of course the centre's renowned large playground is a great attraction with picnics every day.

This second swim week gives those who may not have secured a spot for week 1 and those who can't get enough of this fabulous Swim Week an opportunity to experience all the fun.

We've only 35 places available so get your togs on!

Splash into this second week in Portlaoise Leisure Centre covering pool based activities with Inflatables and Water Relays; Sports Activities including Co-op Games, Relays, Athletics and access to their All-Weather Outdoor Soccer Pitch.

Arts and Crafts may feature too (in bad weather) and of course their renowned large playground with picnics every day is sure to satisfy.

As a number of our children are getting older and becoming competent swimmers, after passing a test run by a lifeguard, they will have full use of the big pool. As always ALL children will be monitored by lifeguards and our Tots Team!
